or for daily wear you want the jewellery you choose to draw attention
to your best features.

When looking for a great piece of jewellery, there are lots of things to consider.
Colour, stones, style, length - these all are important points when looking for jewellery.
To add to this, you might also want to consider what jewellery will flatter your shape of face, especially when you are looking for a special piece that you want to wear often.

Our faces come in many shapes:
oval, round, heart shaped, diamond, square, rectangle and triangle.

Oval
Slightly narrower at the jawline than at the temples, with a gently rounded hairline.

Round
Full-looking face with a round chin and hairline. Widest point is at the cheeks and ears

Heart
Face is wide at the temples and hairline, narrowing to a small delicate chin.

Diamond
Widest at the cheekbones, and narrow equally at the forehead and jaw line.

Square
A strong, square jawline and usually an equally square hairline.

Rectangular
Long and slender, about the same width at forehead and just below cheekbones. Narrow chin or forehead.

Triangular
A dominant jawline that tapers or narrows toward the cheeks and temples.

How to determine your face shape:

* Pull hair back and secure so hair is completely off your face.
* Stand about 40cm from a mirror and look straight into it.
* Outline your face with a white board marker on the mirror, or ask someone to help.
* Look at the shape you have traced in the mirror.

Choose the shape that most closely resembles your own.
